The Tuxxin LLC server, home to overwatch.earth — feed requests, outage reports and general talk. Usually the fastest way to reach us.

Reply time — usually within 1–2 days. This is a small project, not a 24/7 support desk.

A person reads it — every message, not an autoresponder.

Your email — used only to reply to you. Never sold, never added to a mailing list.

Tracked — messages open a ticket in our helpdesk so nothing gets lost in a mailbox.

New layers are the single most useful thing you can send us. Before you do, the feed needs to clear the same bars every existing layer had to clear:

Public & documented — a real endpoint or docs page we can read, not a page to scrape.

Terms allow it — feeds whose licence restricts commercial or AI use are left out, deliberately.

Genuinely live — it changes on a useful cadence. A yearly CSV is an interesting dataset, not a layer.

Has a location — every object needs coordinates, or a place we can resolve to coordinates.

Sane rate limits — we poll politely and cache, but one call an hour can't drive a live globe.

Free or affordable — the site is free to use and ad-supported, so the data has to be too.

Discord — join the server. Fastest for a quick question.

Discussion — talk publicly on any feed, or site-wide on the discussion page.

Security — responsible-disclosure details are in security.txt.

Report a comment — use the flag control on the comment itself; it opens a ticket directly.
